Kiryu nodded in acknowledgment of Majima's professional words. That was how this business worked. Paying for a pretty girl to be your friend for the evening. For someone to listen to you and encourage you. It was almost kind of sad. At the same time, it was almost beautiful, too. Everyone needed that human connection on some level.
