Sorry but you lost him, Majima. Lost him so hard he got stuck on something so frivolous it was pointless to the conversation entirely. Then again, for someone like him who found it harder to read people, to get into their minds and figure out why they did what they did, it really did seem impossible to predict a game of chance. Someone like Majima, however, could see those tics, read a person sharply, and predict their every move if he wished. He probably could even guess what symbol a man would chose before they'd laid it out.
Or maybe he just relied on the chaos to settle itself where it was most fun and that point of the conversation meant absolutely nothing but fun. Who knew.
Kiryu did latch onto one other thing at this point: Majima wasn't always as composed as he pretended to be while on the floor. This wasn't even another guise for entertainment purposes. That giggle fit had to be nothing less than genuine. Kiryu wasn't certain whether to be amused or insulted. Mostly because, he realized, he didn't get what was so funny.
