Kiryu listened with interest as Majima told his tale of the club, only looking away when prompted by Majima's theatrics, and then back again as the story continued. Majima seemed perfectly suited to this sort of playacting and manipulative theatrics--practiced and smooth at it. Despite coming to this conclusion, Kiryu still felt himself put at ease by the relaxed tone of the elocution. The man spoke highly of his staff in a manner that sounded genuine to Kiryu. No one who spoke thus could be all that bad.

"It sounds like you've overcome a lot," Kiryu said. "I didn't realize how brutal this sort of business could be." It reminded him of his own battles with the Five Billionaires actually. Those had been a lot more bloodthirsty than he had expected real estate to actually be. "I'm glad to hear that the investments have helped you prepare for these challenges, but more so that you and your staff have grown so much of your own will and strength. I look forward to meeting the one you praise so highly."

Indeed, with that kind of praise even Kiryu was intrigued and interested in meeting the girl. He was also, however, enjoying his time listening to Majima regale him. He nodded singularly, encouragingly.

"Do you have any specific stories of one of these challenges you would be willing to share with me?"
