Majima extended his arm and drew it around the room theatrically. The interior elegant, freshly renovated, music loud just enough to mute conversations from other tables, but not enough to hinder conversation between a customer and a hostess.
"Thanks to the passion of the staff, and your generosity, Sunshine is close to becoming the top club in all of Sotenbori. We have emerged victorious in every challenge issued to us, and we do not intend to stop until we get to the very top."
If he wanted to stroke the investor's ego more, he should have put the 'generosity' first, but he didn't want to butter up in such a fake way. It was a gamble, of course, but he hoped he was right in his impression that Kiryu was more of an honest man, rather than an entitled loaded prick.
"The girl I want to introduce you to has become the top hostess by her willpower and ever-present curiosity."
